Gamification: it is the use of elements borrowed from games

Gamification: what it is and how it strengthens the user-business relationship

]It's time to dispel the myth that video games are only for young men and women.
Although it is statistically recognized that a boy or girl accumulates over 21 hours of gaming by the age of 10.000, it is equally true that, according to a study on users in the United States in 2021, video games are a universal phenomenon.
In fact, the report revealed that as many as 2,8 billion people around the world are gamers.
What exactly is meant by gamification?
Simply put, it is the art of applying elements of video games into non-gaming contexts, such as websites, online communities, or even everyday business processes.
By intertwining challenges, rewards and competitions, such as points, badges and leaderboards, gamification increases stakeholder engagement, motivation and loyalty.
Gamification can be the glue that binds the corporate Purpose and its Community, another fundamental attribute of Exponential Organizations.
The gamification trend has been boosted by Web3 technologies.
With the advent of Blockchain, Smart Contracts and NFTs, the field of gamification has indeed expanded.

Innovation: technology and classical thinking

The duty of innovation between theoretical knowledge and practical sense

I have the impression that the so-called "intellectuals" are overestimated by the media, perhaps because, very often, they themselves overestimate themselves.
They study a lot and tend to get stuck in the classroom, in some cases becoming a little annoying.
In recent decades, "culture" has neglected science and technology and privileged classical thought right from school.
You just need to browse the major newspapers to realize this. On the cultural pages we find articles on literature, art and non-fiction, which are not very attractive for most of us "common people".
In our "feeling" the high school par excellence is the classical high school, then comes the scientific one, followed by all the technical and professional institutes.
The majority of "intellectuals", or those who consider themselves such, have studied classical studies and very often, even unconsciously, have retained that hint of annoying arrogance acquired in adolescence towards non-high school students.
Low productivity and abstentionism: are they two sides of the same coin?
Perhaps this situation has also contributed to us living today in a "country system", meaning Italy, with very low productivity compared to the rest of the world.
