The declared objective of the NOI Techpark in Brunico is clear: to promote research and innovation in the automotive sector.
In the presence of over 200 guests, the new center for sustainable mobility the future.
It was a vernissage at the same time as that of the unpublished NOBIS, the adjacent events centre.
The network will be the protagonists and central players of the NOI Techpark in Brunico Automotive Excellence Südtirol (AES) , Free University of Bozen-Bolzano who, thanks to the chair assigned to Professor Erwin Rauch and the new laboratory for sustainable production (Sustainable Manufacturing Lab), will be able to collaborate with each other even more intensely.
The focus will be on four main areas: circular economy in manufacturing, zero waste production cycles, decarbonisation and eco-smart factories, as well as ethical manufacturing and socially sustainable.
In the subsequent "Open Day" on Saturday 6 May, all interested parties had the opportunity to discover the WE Techpark in Brunico, its themes and its protagonists in an articulated day of open doors.
From the MiniNOI workshops for children, to guided tours through the building, to insights into sustainable production with AES and unibz, up to the final aperitif with evening clubbing, preceded by a round table on the future of mobility with several experts, the public appreciated the happening.
A significant part of the financing, 18 million euros, is secured through the National Economic Development Fund (FSC 2014-2020) as part of the South Tyrol Development and Cohesion Plan (PSC).
The NOI Techpark Brunico for sustainable mobility and the reasons that led to its creation are accurately described by two films made respectively inside the infrastructure and from above with a drone.
The same are true, in German and Italian, of the interviews with Roland Griessmair, Mayor of Brunico, Arno Kompatscher, President of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Klaus Mutschlechner, President of theAutomotive Excellence Südtirol, Helga Thaler, President of the US Techpark, and to Ulrike Tappeiner, President of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
