The success of #pizzech: "After Zurich we will have new initiatives to give substance to the contents treated in order to help Italian startups"
An excellent start for the "Italian Tech Night", the first edition of which was held last March 24 at the headquarters of Startup Space by IFJ (the Institut für Jungunternehmen), in Schlieren near Zurich, and saw the participation of more of 80 Italian founders, investors and executives in the context of a far-reaching meeting that aims to build bridges and lay "community foundations" between startups of Italian origin born on Swiss soil.

#pizzech, the innovative "connection" network between Italian startuppers in Switzerland
“Italian Tech Night” was the flagship event of #pizzech, the network of Italian startup founders, investors and executives in Switzerland.
Gianmaria Sbetta (AWS) and Umberto Milano (Kellerhals Carrard) launched the initiative in March 2021 with the aim of connecting Italian investors in Switzerland and intensifying exchanges between the Swiss and Italian ecosystems, bringing together startups, institutions, companies and industry experts.
But what is #pizzech? It is a new network, whose members are founders of Italian startups in Switzerland, active in various sectors: from engineering, deeptech, fintech, biotech, medtech to agritech.
The participating companies have raised more than 200 million Swiss francs from institutional lenders, combining entrepreneurship with inventiveness and achieving international fame.
Today, professionals Gianluca Cesari (CBDO & co-founder of Sevensense), Francesco Dell'Endice (CEO & co-founder of QualySense) and Marco Letizia (CEO & co-founder of Aesyra) have joined the board of the Association.
