Cristina Giotto: “The first woman at the top in over half a century…”

"I am particularly excited about this new role that I am taking on in the association in which I have been working with passion for twenty-two years", declares Cristina Giotto, Director and new President of ated-ICT Ticino.
“This is the first nomination for President for a woman in over fifty years of the association's history and I believe it is an important sign of the evolutions taking place, because the professions of the digital economy are now more than ever open to all and all, even in the our Ticino. I owe a big thank you to Daniele Menotti, outgoing President, to Davide Proverbio, Emanuele Carpanzano and Alan Boffi, for the support and trust shown over the years in our association and in me personally”.
And yet: “I am honored to welcome Marziale Brusini, Milena Folletti, Silvia Rovati, Tiziano Leidi and Luca Mauriello to the Committee. Luca will support me as Vice President in the many projects dedicated to training. In fact, thanks to him, we will be launching a new ated Academy, to reaffirm our founding mission of informing, educating and inspiring Ticino businesses and professionals with digital technology. Anyone who knows me knows that I have always worked with the aim of putting technology at the service of people and our association at the service of the territory, because I think that the value on which we must spend towards the new generations and towards those who are not digital natives is that of a technology that is always inclusive, useful and capable of offering new opportunities and profitable opportunities for relationships and work".

Luca Mauriello: "We are rewarded for having helped those in difficulty"

Continues Luca Mauriello, new Vice President and Committee Member of ated-ICT Ticino, who states: “I thank you for your trust and I am honored to be appointed Vice President. In recent years I have collaborated on various initiatives promoted by the association. Some have been in the wake of my profession and expertise, such as the courses I direct in Cyber Security Specialist and the upcoming training course in Digital Collaboration Specialist, both with a professional certificate, but on other occasions I have been able to get to know and appreciate the human inspiration that characterizes the ated fellowship. I am thinking of the efforts made even during the pandemic with the creation of the solidarietadigitaleated.ch platform, which offered solutions and concrete help to those who found themselves in difficulty managing work, school and human relations".
But that is not all: “I also remember the more playful activities, such as the digital bingo in favor of the Mill of Maroggia, the activities in favor of restaurateurs, or the fundraising to equip Ticino families with digital devices to help them manage family members with important disabilities”.
