Around thirty board members of the digital-liechtenstein.li initiative recently gathered in Vaduz for an important workshop.
The objective of the meeting was to review the foundations and update the strategic plan "Digital Roadmap", dating back to 2019.
The digital roadmap identifies concrete fields of action in eight thematic areas from the point of view of the economy and the state, so that the Principality of Liechtenstein can further develop and grow as a leading ecosystem in digitalisation processes.

It is necessary to foresee unprecedented developments and intercept new trends

The meeting took place inside the Technopark Liechtenstein, located at number 27 of Schaanerstrasse in the capital, the home of start-ups, and not only, of the small Alpine country, which in 2019 celebrated three hundred years of existence in life.
Since the publication of the "Digital Roadmap" four years ago, the digital transformation has in fact undergone a further acceleration in all sectors of the economy and of daily life, for which it is necessary to anticipate unprecedented developments and intercept new trends.
Board members had an intensive exchange of views both in plenary sessions and in smaller working groups and discussed concrete measures and activities to support Liechtenstein in its digital transformation.
The Management Board has set itself the goal of publishing the new strategic document in the coming months and of taking forward concrete measures and activities with the relevant actors.
After the workshop, the leaders of the digital-liechtenstein.li initiative were welcomed by Crown Prince Alois von und zu Liechtenstein for an exchange of ideas at Vaduz Castle.
