It is in this context that, using the ICP protocols, the recent evening “An NFT Charity Event-Digital Solidarity, Support Research Through digital art” took place, which marked the world premiere launch of a collection of Not Fungible Token dedicated to a gaming room, specifically the Casino of Lugano.
At this point, especially for non-experts, and we believe there are many, a clarification is needed, not only of the terms, but also of the prospects launched by this initiative.
So, what are we talking about?
From the first collection of NFT, the digital tokens that ensure uniqueness and originality of the asset to which they refer, launched with an ICP computer procedure, which operates in a self-diagnosis regime for the entire period of use, automatically generating and regenerating the service and its possible deficiencies.
To connect, on the one hand, the exchange of the product, theNFT, and on the other its mode of circulation, the ICP procedure, let's find the Blockchain again, the public IT register which, on a global scale, makes it possible to continuously monitor the supply chain: from producers to all end users, consumers.

To coordinate this IT solidarity event, in addition to the Casino of Lugano and at the town hall of the city on Ceresio, for the technical part we find noku, global player in the digital field and, shortly, one of the organizers of the “NFT Fest”, on the agenda from 7 to 11 September, which will bring together no less than sixty-seven (yes: you read that correctly) at the Palacongressi in Lugano, among the most successful professionals in the sector and active in the Southern European Italian-speaking macro area.
But let's go back to the event held at the Casino di Lugano on the occasion of the "Digital Solidarity" evening, presented by the talented Ilaria Stirpe.
The complete collection included a first batch of 52 of the 10.000 playing cards offered in NFT mode.
The proceeds of 10.000 francs were totally donated to the “Sick Child Foundation of Italian Switzerland”, based at the Regional Hospital of Bellinzona and Valli, which promotes fundraising in support of pediatric care for early childhood.
The digital works award procedure was carried out in a combined way: with bids in sealed envelopes, and through a public auction attended by those present.
