There is an interesting project involving the Milan-Malpensa axis, a fundamental corridor for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Italy: it will present itself as an entire artery of new "green" urban scenarios, i.e. ecological, modern and highly livable .
The impressive redevelopment project of the main connection points of FerrovieNord in the territories of the Lombardy Region (which is accompanied by urban mending interventions with the adoption of cutting-edge solutions in architectural design and environmental sustainability) is called "Fili".
It integrates the planting of thousands of trees in about 41.000 hectares across 24 Municipalities, the creation of a 54 km cycle superhighway between Malpensa station and Milan Cadorna and the creation of a Hanging Synthetic Forest at the most "urban" of the stations, which will produce a little oxygen for everyone.
In particular, the places affected by the intervention will be the stations of Milan Piazzale Luigi Cadorna, Milano Bovisa, the Polo di Saronno and Busto Arsizio and the areas adjacent to them, with an intervention that will involve projects for a total of 2 million meters squares, all within Lombardy.
A series of renderings, made for didactic and illustrative purposes, describes the route involved in the sustainable cycle path, which will connect the capital of Lombardy to the airport in the province of Varese and the parallel interventions for the rehabilitation of the railway area along the latitude in the same direction.
