Valuing the cross-border territory as an area that makes of the economic sustainability, Commitment ed of environmental tourism byfirm a distinctive element and of competitive advantage: this, in brief, is the challenge of SMART, an acronym for Sustainable Strategies and Models of Responsible Companies in the Cross-Border Territory.

An initiative Interreg Italy-Switzerland to which the SUPSI participated in collaboration with the Department of Finance and Economy (DFE) of Canton Ticino, Chamber of Commerce di How to Live Aligned with e Lecco, Confindustria Como andLuigi Bocconi Commercial University.
The main objective of the project, the promotion of social responsability of the companies in two territories; a very popular topic in economics and business, symbol of changeor towards a new concept di entrepreneurship capable of combining the economic result with the social and environmental impact.
