Company Get informedCH of Genestrerio organized on 14 June 2022 the first event in Switzerland dedicated to the new Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data and Transparency, a law destined to enter into force with its own load of procedural and moral complexities on XNUMX September of the year following.
The two young partners of the Ticino-based company, founded in 2018 and specialized in both the legal and technical protection of privacy and IT security, led the roi of speakers and experts in the event that lasted an entire day within the panoramic room of the LAC, an elegant cultural center facing Ceresio.
The engineer Mattia Munari and the jurist Angela Pedalina, parents of a “LPD Day” judged very positively in a 14-minute film by the interviewed public of qualified people who gathered in the audience and heard "immediately" by journalists, gave the green light to the first edition of a popular event of a "Legal Tech" nature, designed to generate awareness of the implications that the new Federal Law on Personal Data Protection and Transparency will have on the activities of professionals and companies in Swiss territory.
The conference is the first in a series of annual events (in 2023 it is scheduled for March 24th), except in the case in which there should be such a high interest as to require further replies.
It aims to raise awareness among professionals, business owners and anyone interested in the privacy topic, analyzing from a Legal Tech perspective topics such as current cantonal and federal legislation, references, parallels and differences with the GDPR regulation of the European Union, IT security, "penetration testing" and training as well as technological innovations that make the regulatory transition easier, and this for the benefit of all of us.
The event aims to be the point of reference in matters of privacy, data protection and IT security and is aimed at business managers, executives, management support figures, representatives of the world of finance, lawyers and trustees.
