At number 21 via Pietro Peri in Lugano, in the historic center, there is a property destined to be a lively epicenter of creativity, research and technological innovation.
The new headquarters of the Dagorà Lifestyle Innovation Hub has been operational since 27 February 2024, the day of the inauguration.
This is a new coworking space of over 1.700 square metres, already a success, which marks a new chapter in the establishment of innovative and cutting-edge activities in the economic capital of Ticino.
This space therefore represents the physical dimension of a dynamic ecosystem where the sharing of ideas and collaboration between businesses, universities and institutions translates into development and growth.
The new structure hosts over 15 companies active in the LifestyleTech sector, with two prominent presences such as the Lifestyle Tech Competence Center (LTCC) association, part of the Switzerland Innovation Park Ticino (abbreviated as SIP-TI-LTCC), and the multinational Accenture, who have chosen the new hub as the headquarters of the Ticino region.
The inauguration, of which we present a broad review of captioned images, was attended by a heterogeneous audience, including representatives of the media, institutions, the academic world, businesses and local associations, confirming the strategic importance of this new innovation hub .
“Over the last 8 years we have worked with enthusiasm, effort and determination, deciding to invest over 2 million francs to bring together a community of entrepreneurs, managers, investors and researchers determined to shape the future of the LifestyleTech sector in Europe. Inestimable support was given by the City of Lugano, the Canton and Accenture who, since 2016, have believed in the creation of an internationally renowned center of excellence in Ticino, bringing resources, relationships, skills and know-how to the project. Today's inauguration of the Dagorà Lifestyle Innovation Hub in Lugano is an important milestone in the growth of Dagorà, the result of the constant commitment and engaging passion of its team", said Charles Terreni, President of Dagorà and SIP-TI-LTCC.
“The establishment of the Switzerland Innovation Park Ticino on the fourth floor of the new complex will make a fundamental contribution to collaborations between universities, institutions and businesses, raising the innovation and research ambitions of the companies associated and part of the Hub. The further growth and success of the initiative in the coming years will depend on our ability to network and team up with all the strategic players in Ticino, Milan, Zurich and Bern. The celebrations of the inaugural day, which filled us with gratitude and pride, will represent an important accelerator in positioning Lugano and Ticino as a continental hub for innovation in LifestyleTech".
